Chapter 6

He tried and tried till it finally worked. He could see her face and her brown eyes staring back at him. His body relaxed and he smiled letting consciousness slip from him.

۝⁠ ͒۝⁠ ANGELO'S MANSION ۝⁠ ͒۝⁠

The car drove into the compound and Kyle woke him up. He opened his eyes and blinked before coming down from the car.

"Thanks guys. You can go home now, don't worry I'd be fine" He said and the guys looked at each other before nodding. They entered the car and Angelo told the driver to take them home.

He stretched before walking into the mansion to see his pretty mother sitting on the couch. She looked up from her tablet and smiled widely when she saw him. She stood up and dropped the tablet rushing to give him a tight and long hug.

"I missed you son" She said and he smiled.

"Me too" He replied hugging her back.

This has been the only woman he has hugged after his phobia started and he doesn't like it. He can't hug other girls, go near them or even play with them. He would die if that happens but Camille is different and that's why he needs to get close to her.

He broke the hug and his mum caressed his cheek with a smile. She loves her son so much. She'd kill herself if she loses him the way she lost her husband. She made a promise to protect him with her life and that's something she will do.

"Why are you home early?" His question broke her out of her thoughts.

"The driver told me you were asleep in the car so I knew you would come home early that's why I came back early" She said.

"But your....."

"I'm the boss Angelo. My work will never make me too busy to have time for you. Plus, everything is under control. So you don't have to worry" She cut him off and he sighed.

"Fine. I need to take a shower" He said and she nodded.

"I'll go make dinner" She said and left to the kitchen. They have no maids in the house, only two male workers who do the cleaning of the entire house.

Angelo walked upstairs and entered his room which was as large as a duplex house. He walked to his king sized bed and laid on it closing his eyes.

"I'm so exhausted" He groaned loudly throwing off his shoes. He sat up looking at his room. His eyes met with his father's portrait and he inhaled hard going to carry it. He looked at it tears welling up in his eyes.

"I should hate you dad for everything you did but why can't I? Why are you making it so goddamn hard for me to do it?" He asked, the tears falling.

A memory of what happened flashed in his head and he dropped the picture immediately to hold his head. He didn't drop the frame well so it fell to the ground with a crashing sound as he tightened his grip on his head.

His mum who was in the kitchen switched off the gas cooker and ran upstairs with insane speed. She pushed the door to his room open and saw him squatting to the ground, holding his head tightly. Tears escaping his eyes.

"Angelo" She called coming to him. She squatted and pulled him into a hug making him to calm down. His hands fell from his head as he reciprocated slowly.

"Breathe Angelo" She whispered and he inhaled before exhaling. After a while, she broke the hug to hold his face.

"Are you alright?" She asked.

"Yes" He replied with a smile.

"Why are you like this son? Can you tell me what happened?" She asked and he shook his head.

"It's so painful to talk about. It will break your heart if you know what caused it" He said and shs started crying. She looked down at the frame and saw it was her husband's own.

"Does he have a hand in it?" She asked.

"Mum. When it's time, I will tell you. For now just make me dinner please" He pleaded and she sniffed.

"Please mum just stop crying, I'll start crying too" He added and she sniffed again wiping the tears. He smiled and she smiled too.

"Now please make me dinner, I'm famished" He said and she nodded hugging him one more time before leaving. He sighed and went to his closet bringing out a pair of black up and down night clothing. He took it and went to have a shower.

۝⁠ ͒۝⁠ THE TWIN'S APARTMENT ۝⁠ ͒۝⁠

Camille was in the kitchen cooking while Camilla was laughing at what she was watching.

She was watching Instant Family. It was so funny when the little girl held a SpongeBob knife. She suddenly remembered something and she paused the show before speaking.

"Mille"

"Hm?"

"We should get a phone tomorrow" She said and Camille stopped stirring the food.

"Why?"

"'Cause we need it. Plus I need to know what's happening in school. I need to be in the school blog." She said.

"And I'll be able to get cute guys number." She added. Camille didn't reply, she continued stirring the food.

"Mille"

"Hm?"

"Did you even hear what I said?" She asked.

"Loud and clear"

"So what's your answer?" She asked.

"The money for phone isn't enough. We don't have enough money and yunno I couldn't do any job today so I don't have much cash" Camille said calmly.

"I have money, we can add up our money to get one"

"The money should be for food supplies and other stuffs we might need in the house. We can't spend all our money again" Camille said and Camilla groaned.

"Please Camille." Camille didn't reply. The food was done and she dished it out coming to the dining.

"Camille"

"Let's just eat first Milla" She said and Camilla got up angrily and went to her room closing the door.

Camille stared at the door before looking back at the food. She ate her own food and drank water before carrying Camilla's food. She dropped it in front of her door and spoke.

"I left your own food here, don't forget to eat up"

She left to do the dishes, when she came back, she saw an empty plate in front of the door and she smiled picking it up to wash it. When she was done, she went to her room. After having her bath and changing into her nighties, she climbed the bed and used the duvet to cover herself.

۝ NEXT MORNING: ANGELO'S MANSION ۝

The alarm rang loudly but Angelo didn't wake up. Vince and Kyle entered the room and met him asleep.

"Wakey wakey sleepy head" Vince said walking to stare at his face.

"He looks so peaceful" He said and Kyle came to stare at his face too.

"I've never seen him this peaceful before. What could he be dreaming about?" Kyle asked.

"Rather who could he be dreaming about?" Vince asked and they looked at each other thinking of one person.

"He needs to wake up else we'd be late" Vince muttered and Kyle stood up going to the restroom, he got a bucket of water and poured it on him. He gasped sitting up. He wiped his face with his palm looking at the two guys.

"The hell?!!" He yelled and they laughed before running downstairs. He groaned before looking at the time. He's almost late.

He stood up and went to have a bath. He came out with a towel tied around his waist as he walked to his closet. He brought out a white hoodie and a black baggy jean. He put it on before brushing his hair. He wore his wristwatch, applied his cologne and walked downstairs to see his friends eating already.

"You're eating without me" He muttered coming to sit down. He looked around for any sign of his mother but he didn't see her.

One of the male workers brought the letter she dropped for him. He took it from him and opened it to read.

~ MY DARLING ANGIE. I'M SORRY FOR LEAVING BEFORE YOU WOKE UP. AN ISSUE CAME UP WITH OUR CLIENT AND I WAS NEEDED AT THE COMPANY. SORRY DEAR. DON'T BE ANGRY AT MUMMY PLEASE. LOVE YOU ~

He smiled pocketing the letter. He started eating.

"You both are gonna pay" He said without looking up.

"For?" They chorused.

"First of all, for pouring me water when I was enjoying my sleep. And now for eating without me" He said and looked up. They laughed and he threw a meat ball at them but they dodged it .

"Okay fine. We're sorry" Kyle said and he smiled.

"Good" He muttered and continued eating.

۝⁠ ͒۝⁠ BLIZZ HIGH: HALLWAY ۝⁠ ͒۝⁠

Camille was walking through the hall with Audrey. She was putting on a black turtle neck tank top and a black fitted skirt that stopped at her mid thigh. She was wearing a pair of black boots. She packed her hair in a ponytail leaving bangs at the front.

She got to her locker and opened it. She kept the book she took home to read back in her locker before bringing out physics.

Their first class is physics.

She hasn't seen Camilla since yesterday night. She left home early this morning which she found weird. She closed the locker and started walking.

"Where's your sister?" Audrey asked.

"I'm as clueless as you are right now" Camille said and then she sighted Camilla coming. She was flexing her iPhone 12 pro max. She was putting on a black hoodie and a blue baggy jean with a pair of sneakers. Camilla saw Camille and she bit her lips walking to her.

"Good...."

"Where did you get this from?" Camille cut her off.

"I bought it"

"With which money?" Camille asked.

"With my money" She replied.

"Don't lie to me Camilla."

"Fine, I took your money and added it to mine. I could have bought for you but the money wasn't enough for two. Sorry" Camilla said with a smile and Audrey looked at Camille who still had a calm look on her face.

"You took my money without my permission" Camille stated.

"You'd get the money back so don't feel bad." Camilla said and Camille just stared at her.

One couldn't tell if she was angry or not cos she still has her calm face on.

Angelo and his friends came to them and Audrey gasped. Camille looked at Angelo before looking back at her sister.

She turned around to follow another route but Angelo came to her front immediately.

"Wait please we need to talk" He said. Before she could reply, Diane came from nowhere and pushed Camille away.

"Angelo. Why are you avoiding me huh?" She asked trying to touch him but Vince pulled her back by the arm.

"He doesn't want to talk to you!!" He yelled.

"Stay away" She said trying to break out of his grip. He tightened his grip and she winced before pushing him back. She turned wanting to go to Angelo but Kyle held her back.

"Let go of me I need to talk to Angelo!!" She snapped as she struggled to break free. Vince came to her too holding her so they could take her away but she broke free from their hold by hitting their tummy with her elbow.

She ran to Angelo who was already walking away and pulled him back by the hand.

"Please talk to me" She said desperately.

"Let me go!!" He yelled throwing her off and she fell to the ground. Camille, Camila and Audrey stared at what was happening. By now the hallway was full with the students.

His head began banging madly, anxiety crawling on his skin and he began feeling nauseous. The banging of his head intensified and he held his head. Everywhere spinning and then a memory flashed through his head.

"Stop please!!!" A little boy screamed.

"Help!!! Daddy!!!" He screamed again. The door opened and his daddy walked in.

"Stop this Dad" He cried.

"Please!!!"

He fell on his knees still holding his head.

"Angelo" Kyle rushed to him.

"Tell him to stop please" He muttered tears filling his eyes. Kyle looked back to see Camille staring at Angelo. He rushed to her and she looked at him.

"Help Angelo. Please Camille" He said.

"But why?"

"He needs you. You're the only one that can help him now so please Camille" Kyle pleaded.

She looked back at Angelo before going to meet him. She squatted in front of him and brought down his hands. She held the sides of his face raising his face to look at her.

"Open your eyes" She said to him and he did. His eyes were filled with tears and a tear drop rolled down his eye lid. She used her thumb to wipe it away before pulling him into a hug patting his back slowly.

He sniffed and slowly, his arms went to her back reciprocating the hug and he closed his eyes.

"Calm down Angelo. I'm here" She muttered and he tightened the hug as tears escaped his eyes.
