Chapter 5 Think of Camille

Diane looked back at the garden and saw no one. She ran after them.

Audrey kept looking back to see the girls increasing their pace.

She inhaled hard scolding herself for getting herself into this mess. She cornered seeing two route to follow and instead of following one, she quickly opened a locker which wasn't closed and entered it. It was a long locker so she fitted perfectly.

The girls stopped running breathing hard.

"We must find her. She will pay" Diane said angrily. She looked at the two routes wondering where she followed.

"Go this way. I'll go this way" Diane said and they nodded as they went separate ways.

Audrey waited until she heard the bell for break over before leaving the locker. The next class was Biology and she rushed back to her locker, picked her books before rushing back to class.

She sat down immediately. Diane and her friends came in and she gasped. They were coming for her when students began coming in then the teacher herself. Diane smirked before going to sit down. Same as her friends.

The twins came in and Camilla passed by Diane. Diane set leg for Camilla and luckily, she saw it on time so she stepped on it really hard.

"Arghhhh!" Diane screamed and the teacher looked back at her.

"You good?"

"Definitely" She said with a fake smile and the woman nodded facing what she was doing.

When their eyes met, she smirked at Diane before going to sit down. Camille walked to her chair and sat down as well.

The boys came in immediately and screams started but a hit on the table from the teacher kept them shut. She started teaching.

"Hey" Camille said with a smile and Audrey faced her. Seeing her smile made her smile widely.

"How's your face?" She asked.

"It's fine"

"Sorry for not stopping her from doing so" She apologized.

"I'm not upset. You weren't at fault so there's no need to apologize. Angelo saved me on time thankfully so... don't beat yourself too much for not helping" Camille said and Audrey smiled widely.

"Thank you" She muttered and Camille smiled in return.

"You" The teacher pointed at Camille and everyone faced her.

"Yes ma'am?" She answered standing up.

"Since you were so engrossed in your conversation with that girl, what was the last thing I said?" The teacher said and asked.

"The last thing you said was Neuron. You were telling us how neuron is the basic unit of the nervous system which is responsible for the transmission of impulses within the body. You then talked about how the neurons are found in the brain, spinal cord or nerve fibres of animals which are responsible for receiving and transmitting impulses" Camille said and the mouths of the teacher and some of the students fell open.

Camilla only smiled happily. Proud of her sister.

"You...." the teacher started and cleared her throat before continuing.

"You may have your sit" The teacher said and she smiled settling down on her seat.

"How did you listen to all that when we were talking?" Audrey asked.

"My ears are everywhere. It doesn't matter if I and someone are talking, I can still hear what the other is saying" Camille said and Audrey nodded.

They both faced the teacher as they jotted down what was being taught.

"Today was hellish" Audrey muttered as she packed her books. Lectures are over so they're getting ready to go home.

"You have to get used to it" Camille said putting her books in her bag. Diane wanted to go to them but Riley held her back.

"Leave them for today, Angelo is going, go meet him" Riley said pointing at Angelo who left the class. Diane smiled before going after him. Her friends went after her as well.

"Mille" Camilla called and the two girls looked back.

"We should get going" She said and Camille nodded facing Audrey.

"See you tomorrow?"

"Definitely" Audrey said and smiled before hugging Camille which she reciprocated. They broke the hug and she left.

"Gosh I'm so exhausted" Camilla muttered sitting back down on the chair.

"Same but we have to get going before it's late" Camille said and Camilla groaned before standing up. She and Camille left the class together.

They got out and saw Diane trying to talk to Angelo who kept stepping back. His friends stood in front of him not allowing her to come close to him.

"I just want to talk to him. Why does he keep moving back?!!" Diane yelled.

"It's none of your business" Vince said.

"It is. Why doesn't he move back when he's with Camille, huh?!!!" She yelled again.

"You're not Camille." Kyle muttered.

Angelo already entered the car inhaling and exhaling loudly. His friends entered the car and drove off.

"Arghhhh!!!!" Diane screamed.

Camilla looked at Camille who was looking at the car that was driving off.

"Let's go" She said and started walking. Camilla followed suite.

Diane sighted them and walked angrily to Camille. She rose her hand to hit her face but Camilla caught the hand throwing it down before gave her a resounding slap.

Diane face went to the other side and Camille smiled.

"You dare not touch my sister when I'm here" Camilla declared.

"Let's go and make the goddamn mistake of following us, I'd make sure you go home with a broke leg" She added before leaving with Camille. Diane stood glaring at their retreating figures furiously.

"Dude. Breathe, she's gone" Vince said and Angelo exhaled for the 6th time.

"She touched me Vince. My head is a whole mess now. I....." His voice cracked as he held his head.

"What happened to you Angelo? What made you like this?" Kyle asked worry filled in his eyes.

"I can't say it. It's too painful to talk about" He said the tears finally falling. The dudes looked at each other before patting his back.

"Close your eyes Angelo and think. Think about something apart from whatever is running through your head" Vince said.

"It's not working"

"Then think of Camille" Kyle said and he looked at Kyle.

"Why should I think of her?" He asked.

"'Cause she's the only one aside your mum that be with you without you feeling nauseous. Think of her and I assure you it'd work" he said and Angelo sighed before closing his eyes.

He tried and tried till it finally worked. He could see her face and her brown eyes staring back at him. His body relaxed and he smiled letting consciousness slip from him.
