Chapter 6 The blissful night

Daisy couldn't tear her gaze away from the two people kissing in her presence. Her heart thudded in her chest in pain, and she wondered how the king could be so cruel.

She knew the king was not ready to let her go, and yet he wanted to make life miserable for her. Alex kissed Ivy roughly on the lips before the door opened, and one of the guards came in. Alex disembarks from the kiss and steps away from Ivy's side.

"Wash her up and have her stay in one of the rooms," Alex declared to the guards as he walked towards the dressing table.

"Why can't you just let me go?" Daisy as the guard captured her and took her out of the room. "I want to go home!" She yelled as the door shut behind her.

Ivy walked towards Alex and wrapped her hand around his waist.

"Who is that woman?" Ivy asked with curiosity as she gently rubbed his back with her hands.

"My new amusement," Alex replied curtly as he turned to face her.

"But she doesn't look like any of the palace maids. Where is she from?" Ivy asked seductively as she tiptoed to peck his lips.

"You don't have to bother yourself with her ivy. You will be crowned Luna tomorrow. You should start getting yourself prepared."

"I know, but I miss you. My body craves your touch, Alex." Alex's mind was somewhere else, even though he was in the room with Ivy. He couldn't stop thinking about the woman in the long blue gown, his fated mate. He couldn't forget the look she gave him and the way her cheeks were tinted red from crying so much.

He knew he was selfish, but he was not ready to let go. He will either train her hard and check if she is indeed his mate or discard her if she is not.

His thoughts were interrupted when Ivy cupped his member in her small hands. Alex hissed slowly as he threw his head back softly. Ivy went down on her knees and gently pulled his pants down.

Daisy woke up to the sound of the bell that went around the palace wall. She yawned softly and wondered how she managed to sleep after crying so much last night. The room was still neatly arranged, with some of the candles already burned out. Daisy sits upright on the bed and wonders what kind of state her mother will be in. She knew no one cared about her, but her mother was different.

She rose from the bed and attempted to at least attempt to make her first escape in the palace to know how far he could go when the door suddenly opened. The devil comes in and closes the door behind him.

"You are awake. How was your night?" Alex asked as he leisurely walked around the room as if he owned it, but still, he owned everything.

"I came to your room last night, but you were sleeping soundly when I came in. I couldn't be a weak human like you could snore," Alex explained further after receiving no reply to the first question he asked.

Daisy didn't want to think about what would happen after she left his room last night, but why would he come to her room?

"I want to go home," she said, stubbornly facing him. She can't even feel a bond between them, so why should she care about who he spends the night with?

"I thought you were enjoying your stay here," Alex replied before sitting on the bed in the room.

"My king, all I want right now is to leave here. My mother will be worried sick at home." Daisy pleaded.

"I will let you see your mother, but you can't leave this palace, Daisy. This is home, and I will make sure to refine you into a strong she-wolf."

"I never want that. You already have Luna by your side; Lady Ivy is the strongest she-wolf in the Blackwood Kingdom. You might be wrong; I'm not your mate." Daisy interjected as she gently rubbed her palms together.

Alex chuckled softly at the woman's words, and this sounded like music to Daisy's ears. The devil was undeniably handsome but cruel in her eyes.

"The maids will attend to you; make yourself comfortable. I will be coming to you tomorrow to officially welcome you as my concubine." He said, rising from the bed, as he watched her shake her head in denial.

"I don't want to live here."

"You are tied to me, Daisy. To me and no one else," he claimed as he walked out of the room, shutting the door behind him.

Alex got married to Ivy that night, and the two lovers enjoyed themselves to the fullest in the quiet room.

Daisy's mother, Charlotte, went around the village, asking the people if they had seen Daisy. They all affirm that they have not seen her, and Charlotte wonders if her daughter decided to escape the village because of the bullying.

Charlotte wondered if that could be so, but she knew Daisy would never do anything behind her back. Daisy's sisters, Mirabella and Selene, didn't bother looking for Daisy, as they already saw her as a bad omen for the family and their father's pack.

Daisy's mother didn't stop looking for her as her heart ached for her youngest daughter.

Daisy stayed in the room all day, but she remembered that today was their wedding celebration. She imagines the two making love right on the bed while she remains in the room.

"Moon goddess, help me, please. I'm stuck and still can't sense my wolf. Help me," she prayed.

She ate the food the maid brought in for her late at night. Daisy eats it with the determination to leave the palace walls sooner. She didn't want to be labeled a whore if the king later got tired of her and sent her out of the palace.
