Chapter 5 Laurel's prettier

Carlos and Jason, was ready for work early in the morning to the last house located inside the forest,

The woman who her daughter was raped and was killed wanted relocate from her building to the new made home.

The two enter the truck, as Carlos put on the music inside the car, Jason danced crazily with his hand up crazily.

Jason sing loudly in the truck as Carlos was mimicking him inside the truck, because of his voice, they laughed together,

"Beer?" Jason asked bring out the second beer for his bag.

"Yeah sure, but I'm driving I will take it after we arrived at the building"

Jason looked at his with his eyes widely,

"He just collect it from me" Jason uttered silently.

He thought

"Why the staring, we are almost there"

The truck came to halt, as Jason came down from the car leaving Jason who was drinking beer,

he opened the wooden gate that leads to the house, they met thee lady

already packing the load outside, so they helped him.

Hazel came outside with her load, as a strand of hair cover her face she blow the hair away has Jason was mesmerized by the beauty of the lady,

"Is it true that the girl that was raped by some rogues was alive?" Jason asked himself looking at the lady, he thought it was a rumour that the daughter was still alive.

the load in his hand dropped, could see what was going on he was standing beside the truck parking things inside the truck.

He chuckled, as he scratch his head laughing at his friend behavior.

Jason rushed to hazel side, as she wanted to help her with the loads.

"Hey, can I help with that?"

"Hi, umm I can help myself thanks" hazel said trying to leave but she hold her wrist.

The woman that sees the strange man holding her daughter run to Jason and gave him three hit also, before letting go.

"Do you won't to take her huh, like you guys raped her before" Helen wailed as she drag her daughter to her side.

"But mum?" Hazel(laurel) wanted to say as she was shut by her mother.

"You are here to work, now take the load"

Jason was a bit angry, but he can understand the woman feeling,

he dragged the load behind him, as he gave it to Carlos to take it to the truck, Carlos burst out laughing as he pushed the bag into the truck still laughing.

"What!"

Carlos stopped laughing as he see the expression, he burst out laughing again.

"Let's move, I don't want to see.." He trailed off as the saw the girl wearing hoodie coming to the truck,

He quickly straightened his clothe and pleaded with Carlos to stay at the back of the truck so that he will drive and the last will sit beside him,

Carlos came down from the car as he claimed up to the back.

Helen hurried to her daughter side as they entered and they zoomed off.

The new house was located not far way from Carlos uncle's home, as they helped the woman to unpack the load as they dropped it.

Hazel was gazing at Carlos working, she don't know what was pushing her to meet him.

She watched Helen go inside and walk gently to Carlos.

"Hello!, thanks for helping us today"

Carlos didn't even looked at her, he just focused on his work.

"Yeah, it's my work and I get paid for it" Carlos said as he turned to go.

"I'm haz..., laurel I meant"

Carlos nodded his head, as he enters the car, the lady paid the money to Jason as he walk closer to hazel.

"Hi, I'm Jason"

Hazel was standing at the truck blankly, so this is how it felt to be rejected in their first meeting. She always rejected vamp men without consideration. Finally a man ignored her sternly.

"Oh, I'm laurel bye" she said as she walked inside.

"Can you drive faster, I received a message that the vampire are trying to cross the boudary," Jason said as he, looked through the forest and could smell it.

Jason was part of the warrior with a little skills, he always want Carlos to join the group because he has skilled to be one.

The warrior are already at the field forming a circle as the leader marched forward.

"Set your weapon, we are not going to used the were Wolf fight, but combat. Stay alert and defend your self" the leader warned.

The vampire guard are not much, they are on a mission to find the lost maid not to fight, as they stay looking at the warrior not to cross them.

"Let's go I don't think the stupid maid is here, if she's she will be killed by now because of the intruder alarm, you know we are vampire" one of the vampire said as they all agreed and ran back.

The warrior already know that they won't be able to come out because of the light, the leader even makes a special light that will burn them into ashes.

They all go back to the camp, as the leader announced to the new men that the test will hold tomorrow, and it's hard on if someone passed it then he will join the group and they all chorused.

Carlos was at the last roll looking at them, he sit down on the small stone, as he was looking at his brother idris who was discussing with the new men.

Jason was wearing a brown hard uniform, with his sword beside him, he walked closer to his friend, as he take his seat looking at how the warrior discuss.

"Are you not going to join?"

Caro's looked at him and stood up throwing the sword stick away,

"I'm joking" Jason said.

"I know you are joking, because I'm not going to reply you" Carlos said as they walk together.

"Then where are you going to?"

"I'm going to feed my empty stomach" Carlos said as they walk through the dusty road, trucks and car drove passed them.

"Then I will follow you, so that I can see the beautiful Lady of earlier" Jason said as carlos throw him a dirty look

"Remember you have a mate now"

"But laurel is prettier than my mate"

Lilah came out from no where,

"Wow someone is prettier than me, how dare you!"
