Chapter 1 1. CHAPTER ONE

"Enough! I'm tired of your explanation!" Bella shrieked sharply, challenging his face in front of her husband. The husband began to harden his jaw. Bella put her clothes back into the suitcase quickly. The man with close-cropped hair and a thin mustache gripped his wife's arm hard. "Bel, we can talk about this properly. Don't be like this Bella!" Bella didn't care one bit. He walked down the stairs carrying a heavy suitcase. The woman with a rectangular satin hijab has made her decision to leave the house. "Bella!" shouted Bara who was now right in the middle of the door.

"You can't act like this on your own, Bella. We also have to think about Mama's feelings," said Bara with bulging eyes. Seeing her husband so hot. The clear-eyed woman could only lower her head. This time he tried to contain his anger. Bella took a deep breath and exhaled. His eyes closed briefly and then opened again.

"Sit down Bella," said the husband, holding Bella's arm as he led her to sit on the sofa. The living room seemed to witness how hurt Bella was when she saw her husband kissing in a car with a woman. "Everything is clear right, Mas? You cheated on me!" Bella's voice was hoarse. The man was confused to explain the sentence said by his wife. Bara's eyes flickered with confused thoughts. "The woman you see in the car is just my friend, Bella. Her name is Arum. We just kiss normally, nothing more. We both don't have sex," explained Bara. "Friends? Is it permissible in our religion to act like that?" Bella asked furiously then shook her head in disbelief of what her husband had done. While Bara just glanced at him in annoyance. "Man, if you don't love me anymore, you can divorce me. I'm sincere, rather than you hurting me by having an affair like this," Bella said despite the tightness in her chest. Divorce and being cheated on are two painful things. He wouldn't even choose either of them if fate wanted. However, he chose to divorce if it was like this situation.

"I can't divorce you Bella. Poor Mama," Bara replied with an innocent face. The oval-faced man with a thin mustache and sideburns looked stupid when he faced Bella. "You are selfish, Mas. You have hurt two people at once, Mas. Me and Mama too. You are having fun while there are people who are hurt because of you," Bella said, pointing at Bara's chest in disgust. "Bella, I'm honest with you. If Arum was just my friend. He was the one who stepped in first. I promised I would stay away from Arum. Trust me Bella," Bara defended himself. "I don't believe you," Bella said, looking in a different direction. Bara looked nervous but he tried to hold Bella's arm with his hand. "Bella, you have to trust me. I can't cheat on you. We've been in this household for five years. I can't betray our love that easily," said Bara in a sad tone. "I'm really sick, Mas. If you cheat," Bella said holding her chest. "I'm not cheating on Bella, trust me," Bara Mahesa gently hugged the woman in front of him. The hug really made Bella feel very warm. It is no doubt that a gentle touch can make a woman calmer. Now Bella is trying to believe in her husband. She hoped her husband's words were not a lie. The next day Bara was getting ready to go to the office. But Bella was worried why her husband left for work so early. "Mas, it's still five in the morning. Are you serious about leaving at this time?" asked Bella while putting breakfast containing toast in the lunch box. Bara's hand put the blue object into the briefcase quickly "Bella, my job is the creative team on the tv program. Today I want to survey the shooting location. The location is at the top. I have to leave early so I can go home quickly. Hopefully, I can go home quickly." Bara's explanation made Bella unsure. Because according to him, Bara explained doubtfully. But she tried to convince herself that her husband wasn't lying. "Yes, sir, I know what kind of work you do. Your work really doesn't know the time. I pray that you don't glance at other women there. A few minutes later, Bara was now in the car. Bella saw from the gate then waved to her husband. Now Bella entered the house with slow steps. In fact, right now he felt really bad. She felt that her husband was hiding something. "God, I don't feel so good. I really hope that Mas Bara can be a loyal husband. When I think of yesterday's bad image, it really hurts.
