Chapter 4 You

ALINA'S POV :

"N-no don't touch me.. stop it... Stoooopp.." I woke up with cold sweat all over my face, panting and looked around to see my surroundings just to confirm that I'm still in my house. This freaking nightmare again, When will this stop haunting me? I took deep breaths and turned off the alarm which just started hurting my head and went to my bathroom to freshen up.

This freaking nightmare is haunting me since high school. I just hope it'll end. I turned the shower on and my body relaxed under the hot shower.

This is me, ALINA ROSE GREEN a 24-year-old, event planner. I live with my parents and little sister in our sweet home. Having a normal life with your loved ones is the most precious thing in the world.

I like to be an independent woman. So I started my career as an event planner with my best friend when I was 20 and luckily, it's a huge success... Now everyone prefers me as their first choice...

I like the way my life is right now and I know I've worked hard to be in this place. Sleepless nights, planning and everything we did paid off.

I'm very confident about my work. I like to plan everything perfectly and did everything with love and passion. That's why it's a huge success.

After taking a relaxing bath, I dressed up in my casual outfit and went downstairs to meet my family. I saw my mom making something delicious in the kitchen as always and went to meet her. I hugged my mom from behind, kissed her on the cheek and greeted her, " Morning mom."

My mom gave me her sweet smile and said, "Morning dear. Come, have breakfast, I made cupcakes."

"Thank you, mom.." I thanked her for these delicious cupcakes and took one to eat.

This is my mom, CAROLINE LOUISE GREEN. She is the sweetest and a very kind woman. She loves cooking that's why she opened a restaurant with my Dad and it's working well because of her skills in baking. I love her cupcakes, she is the best mom ever.

"Morning Alina.." My dad came downstairs along with my little sister and kissed me on my forehead and went to the kitchen to hug my mom. He is a very loving man and also my inspiration.

"Morning Dad.." I wished him with a smile and continued eating my breakfast after serving it to my cutie sis.

My Dad, ERIC ANTOINETTE GREEN. He is very supportive and gives us great advices on everything. He manages everything at my mom's restaurant.

And last but not least my cute little sister, SARINA AMY GREEN. She just turned 12... She is a lovely and smart girl. She loves to play with me in my free time. She is the light of our family. With her cute smile and expressive eyes, no one can say No to her.

"Good morning girl", Jessica screamed in joy as always and made her way to the dining table.

"Good morning Jess. Want one?" I asked her offering one of my mom's cupcakes.

"Jeez girl, you don't have to ask me. You know that I'm always up for your mom's cupcakes." She said and grabbed the cupcake from my hand and started eating. "yummy", she made some sounds which made us all laugh.

JESSICA AMBER WESTWOOD. She is my best friend since middle school. She is also my assistant. She has been supporting me in everything since I started my profession. She is a very good friend but she loves to annoy me the most... With her, you will never get boredom.

"Come on girl, we have to go now," I said taking my mobile.

"One more please." She asked me with her puppy eyes. You know she is more like a child than my little sister.

"Eat as much as you want," I told her.

"Really?" She asked me, furrowing her brows.

"Yeah", I said crossing my arms over my chest, "I think you can also help my mom at her restaurant. Then you can eat as much as you want. Don't you think it's a great idea?" I asked, teasing her.

"But I'm your assistant right, how can I do both works at once?" She asked me not even noticing that I'm kidding.

"Don't worry Jess, you know I will just fire you. Then you can eat peacefully." I smirked.

"You will never do that, will you? I'm your best friend." She asked me.

"Yes, I will," I said teasing her.

Her eyes are wide open, "Don't u dare do that Lina", she warned.

I laughed in my mind at her shocked face "Try me. I'm going to do that now if you don't move your ass right now."

"Bye, I'm leaving now," kissing my sister on her cheeks I went to the hallway to take my car keys.

"Bye, sweetie." My mom said.

"Thank you Caroline for these lovely cupcakes," Jessica said while taking another one. "You know I want more of these cuties but your daughter is acting like a psychopath. How can you handle her?" She said dramatically. I laughed while listening to her complaints.

My mom laughed at her question and said, "She is such a lovely girl Jess and you know that she will never fire you. Because you are her best friend."

"I know Caroline, but I have to go now." She said picking her mobile.

"Are you coming or not?" I asked her.

Jessica rolled her eyes, "See, If I don't go now, then you have to hire me at your restaurant." My mom chuckled at her comment. "Bye Caroline", she said side hugging my mom.

"Bye Jessica", my mom said with a warm smile.

Jessica came into the hallway, "Finally." I said looking seriously at her which I'm not. She rolled her eyes at me. And we both laughed at our silly fight.

As we entered the car, I started the engine and went directly to my office.

Third person's POV :

After some time Camilla & Marie came to Alina's office and went to the reception desk.

"Good morning. How can I help you?" the receptionist asked them.

"We are here to meet Ms.Green", Marie replied.

"You can meet her in her office on, the fifth floor and first room to your left at the end of the hall." The receptionist replied.

"Thank you," Camilla said and they both went to the elevator and pressed five. They reached the fifth floor and entered the hallway. When they turned left, they saw Jessica talking with someone on her mobile.

When Jessica completed her call Marie thought to scare her and told Camilla her plan and started taking slow steps towards Jessica.

"I have to arrange another blind date for Alina even if she kills me later." Jessica mumbled to herself not observing her surroundings. "She has to enjoy her life a Lil bit." She said to herself while browsing her mobile. "He is not good. Mmm No. Not him. He looks good." She said swiping her mobile screen while seeing some photos on a dating app.

Marie doesn't know what she is talking about but she thought that this is the best opportunity to scare her. "Boom" Camilla and Marie both said in unison behind her ear.

"What the-" she shrieked. Clutching her heart she turned back to see who scared the hell out of her.

Marie and Camilla laughed at her reaction and said "Hello Jess."

"MARIE," Jessica said, excitedly and hugged Marie. "It's been so long. How are you Girl?"

"I'm good Jess, how are you?" Marie asked.

"I'm good before you scared me to death," Jessica said dramatically which made them laugh. "By the way, What brings you here M?" She asked her.

"Sorry, I forgot after seeing you. Jess, this is Camilla, our soon-to-be bride. And Cami, this is Jessica.

"Hi, nice to meet you," Camilla said with a smile.

"Hi, girl, nice to meet you too and congrats on your wedding." Jessica wished her happily.

"Thank you," Camilla replied with a huge smile.

"We are here to discuss her wedding plans, as we already know that you guys are the best event planners now. When she asked me to accompany her to meet you, I told her that you guys are my friends." Marie said happily.

"Thank you girl, but this is all because of Alina's hard work," Jessica replied proudly.

"Yeah, I know girl, that's why we are here. She is the best for wedding plans and everything." Marie replied.

"I can't wait to meet her," Camilla said excitedly.

Jessica chuckled and said, "What are we waiting for, come I will take you to her office."

They went to Alina's office and Jessica entered first followed by Camilla and Marie.

"Alina, you can't believe who came here", Jessica said excitedly.

"If you brought another man to go on a date, then I swear Jess, I will kill you," Alina said, while seeing something on her laptop.

Jessica rolled her eyes. Marie & Camilla laughed silently.

"You can be assured that I'm not planning any blind dates(yet)" she said the 'yet' part in her mind.

"Then what is it?" Alina asked her still busy with her work.

"Can you at least look in my direction once?" Jessica asked.

Alina raised her head and looked in her direction and when she saw their guests, a smile immediately formed on face.

"MARIE." She said excitedly and went to hug her.

"Hey, Lina," Marie said and gave a tight hug to Alina.

"After a long time girl, how are you doing?" Alina asked Marie.

"I'm good Lina, how are you?" Marie asked her.

"See, I'm perfect," Alina replied with a shrug and smiled.

"Ali, this is Camilla, my best friend and she is going to get married soon.." Marie introduced to Alina. "And Cami, this is Alina, she is the girl I always told you about."

"So you only told her about Alina but not me," Jessica said feigning hurt.

They laughed at her reaction, "I'm so glad to finally meet you, Ms.Green." Camilla said and then turned to Jessica. "And she also told me about you." Camilla winked at her which made Jessica chuckle.

"Come on girl, you can call me Alina. If you are Marie's friend then you are my friend also." Alina said to Camilla. "And congrats on your wedding."

"Thank you, Alina," Camilla replied.

"You are welcome, girl. Btw When is your wedding date?" Alina asked her.

"Actually we don't have enough time. They fixed the date in two months from this day on. That's why we came here asap to discuss the wedding plans with you." Marie said.

"Oh, so we don't have much time then, but we can manage," Alina said.

"That's why we came here, when I heard about your company, I told Marie that I'm thinking about asking you. But to my luck, she said that you are her friend which made me double excited to see you in person." Camilla said happily.

"Thank you. I love my job and with Jessica's help, we made it," Alina said. "So Camilla, do you prefer a small wedding or a grand wedding?"

"I prefer a small and lovely wedding with family and friends," Camilla said.

"Hey, why don't we go to a coffee shop so that we can discuss the details over a cup of hot coffee," Jessica suggested.

"That's a good idea. Come on, let's go." Alina replied and they all went to the nearest coffee shop and discussed the details of Camilla's wedding.

Next day morning...

Alina and Jess went to meet Camilla to show her some plans. They stopped their car in front of a huge building and were impressed by the look of it.

By the look of it, It's a five-star hotel. Camilla said that she is living in a penthouse but they didn't expect this. They went to ask the receptionist about the way to the penthouse.

"Hello, can you please tell us the way to the penthouse?" Alina asked the receptionist.

"Sorry mam, but no one is allowed to go to the penthouse without permission except those who are living there." The receptionist replied politely.

"But we came here to meet MS. Camilla, she is living in the penthouse. You can call and tell her that we are here to meet her." Alina said.

"Okay mam, your name please?" The receptionist asked.

"Alina Green and Jessica Westwood," Alina replied.

The receptionist called the penthouse and luckily Camilla is the one who answered the phone. "Hello mam, Ms Green and Ms Westwood came here to meet you."

"Okay send them in and tell them that I'll call them to tell the passcode to the penthouse," Camilla replied on the phone.

"Sure mam." The receptionist ended the call and turned to answer them, "please go straight and to your left, there is an elevator which takes you to the penthouse. And as for the passcode, mam told me that she'll call you personally to tell you." The receptionist answered.

"Thank you" Alina replied. And the receptionist said, "You're welcome."

They walked towards the elevator and entered. But there are no numbers which show the floor's numbers, there is only a fingerprint scanner and below that a passcode device.

At that instant, Alina got a call from Camilla and Camilla told them the passcode which Alina entered. And the elevator started, after about two minutes Alina thought that this would take more time to reach the penthouse because of the size of the building which she saw before entering, she knows that it'll take time.

So she decided to use that time to show Jessica some plans on her iPad to tell her about what she thought the previous night. They were still talking and discussing when the elevator opened, they just went out when they heard the elevator buzz sound when it's opening but they didn't see straight as their eyes were glued on her iPad and bumped into something hard.

When Alina raised her head to see the person, she was shocked that it was not something but someone with a very hard chest. Her eyes widened in shock when she saw that person, "Y- you??"
