Chapter 6 Why don't we get divorce

Xavier didn't like the presence of Juliet so he finished his breakfast and wipe his mouth but Kathy hold his hand to make him stop

"Baby, don't do this. Juliet is a nice girl and please let her have breakfast with us" Kathy said batting her eyelashes like she was up to something.

Xavier was confused by Kathy's demand but didn't say anything because he wanted to see what Kathy was up to.

Juliet was still rooted in her place because she was unable to understand why Kathy was being sweet to her.

Juliet gathered her strength and go towards the breakfast table. Kathy patted the seat beside her for Juliet to sit.

Juliet sat with great nervousness and slowly she looked at Xavier who was sitting with a robotic expression on her face.

Surprisingly, Kathy started to fill the plate of Juliet with food

"Eat because I know you must be excited looking at all the expensive and delicious food," Kathy said suppressing her laugh.

Juliet felt humiliated but she didn't know what to say to the woman who destroyed her life in one night.

Juliet didn't know earlier that she befriended a snake who would bite her later in the most painful manner.

Juliet didn't touch the food because, after the insult of Kathy, her appetite was lost.

She gathered the courage and look at Xavier who was already looking at her and trying to identify the girl who he married for the property

"Xavier" Juliet said in a small voice and Xavier arched his eyebrow

"It's sir for you because my name doesn't look good coming out of your mouth," Xavier said to her in his cold tone and a shiver ran down in the spine of Juliet.

She was unable to understand why Xavier carried a lot of hatred towards her because they never talk then why did he hate her to such an extent?

Everyone loves Juliet and this was the first time that she was experiencing the hatred and that too from the man who she loved the most.

"Why don't we get a divorce," Juliet said in a slow tone and she was nervous. Hearing her Xavier and Kathy goes silent.

Kathy was surprised because Juliet loved Xavier all her life and Kathy thought that Juliet would never leave Xavier.

Kathy was about to say something but Xavier showed her hand to her to stop.

"Why do you want a divorce, aren't you enjoying the luxury here" Xavier taunted Juliet because he thought that Juliet was all about money and nothing else

Kathy chuckled at the comment Xavier and Juliet raised her head to look at him

Juliet wanted to say that she wanted a divorce because for her, Xavier's happiness

matter a lot but she stopped herself because she knew that her feeling would not be respected but mocked in a painful way.

"Because you love Kathy," Juliet said in low voice and she didn't look at Xavier because whenever she looked at Xavier she felt pain because Xavier was not hers.

Kathy internally laughed at their conversation and she felt that Juliet was very stupid because how could divorce a man who she loved for many years.

Juliet proved herself stupid in eyes of Kathy but for Juliet, this was her other form of love that was called sacrifice for love.

"Indeed I love Kathy but you are not getting a divorce and that's final," Xavier said in a rude tone and get up from his chair.

"Why are you doing this to me, I want a divorce because I can't live like this" Juliet said with courage and tears gathered in her eyes.

Xavier looked at her in anger and clenched his fist.

"Why because you want to go to your lover boy," Xavier said in anger and both the woman looked at him in a surprising way

Juliet didn't understand why Xavier was accusing him like this because she hadn't been associated with any man ever because Xavier occupied her heart a long time ago.

Xavier was the one in Juliet's life and both Kathy and Juliet know this then what Xavier was talking about.

"Do you want to elope with your lover boy with my money" Xavier accused Juliet who didn't know what Xavier was talking about?

Money never mattered to Juliet because she was happy with whatever was given to her. Juliet gave more importance to her life rather than money

Juliet got a lot of proposals in her life but she didn't give anyone a chance because she only wanted Xavier who was now accusing her of things which Juliet could never do.

Juliet was unable to form any words and that made Xavier confirm that her suspicion was right.

"Listen to me well and clear, you will get divorced when I want and you have no right over my money. You can live in this mansion but only as my servant and if you try to do anything then I will block the expenses of your mother's treatment" Xavier threatened Juliet showing his callous finger.

Tears escaped from Juliet's eyes hearing Xavier's words, how could she love a cruel man like Xavier.

Kathy gets up from her seat because this was her chance to create more misunderstanding between them and moreover she liked to see tears in Juliet's eyes.

"Juliet, why are so being so innocent. We all know that you are only interested in money then why are you creating a drama of divorce" Kathy said and put her hands on Xavier's shoulder who was fuming in anger.

"Do you know Xavier that Juliet always borrows expensive dresses for me to impress rich boys?" Kathy said in a cunning way and made an innocent face. Juliet couldn't believe that Kathy was saying a white lie.

Juliet couldn't say a single word as if someone hold her tongue. She was silently accepting every insult.

"What a pathetic girl you are, instead of running after rich guys make your own career" Xavier advised her and shake his head.

Xavier loathed Juliet and he hated the sight of her

"And do one thing for me, never come in front of me because I hate gold diggers like you" Xavier warned her and turned around to leave the mansion because seeing the tears of Juliet made him feel different.

In his eyes, Juliet was the biggest actor because she tried to look innocent but Xavier thought that it was good that he knew the true face of Juliet
