Chapter 1 Rebirth

When it was barely bright in the morning, Ji Wujin already came into the street to beg for food.

It was an important day today because it was her 13th birthday.

The early bird catches the worm. It was never wrong to listen to the ancient wise man who said that.

However, the wise man fooled her.

She had been wandering around in the big Feng City from dawn to dusk, but found not even a single worm.

At dusk, Ji Wujin stood in the middle of Changle Street, gritting her teeth while holding a stomach full of northwest wind.

Winds blew in the west. She stood straight unyieldingly in the wind, gritting her sharp teeth aggressively and loudly.

Before her, standing in the middle of the street was a big ginger dog that stood there even more unyieldingly and gritted its teeth even more aggressively.

Ji Wujin was outraged because after one-day hard work, the meat-stuffed bun, the best food she could ever find to celebrate her birthday, was now held in that dog’s mouth.

If it were for some ordinary day, Ji Wujing who could not say bo to a goose wouldn’t lower herself to fight a dog. But that day was different!

“You little arrogant brute! Do you think you are noble enough to enjoy the meat-stuffed bun? Are you aware that you are a dog?!”

Woof!

“Huh?! How dare you bark at me! Dog! You are asking for death!”

Then a heart-stopping human-dog fight unfolded!

Both sides had given all they had, because both were starving to their extreme!

People passing by booed them, “Huh, look at this little beggar. She has some strength! Clinch its throat! Clinch the brute’s throat! Good! Good for you, little beggar!”

The dog was clinched down. She instantly grabbed the meat-stuffed bun out of the dog’s mouth and wiped off its saliva

“Bravo! Great…”

The onlookers immediately burst into cheers.

Ji Wujin raised her head proudly, kicked the dog away, and got back on her feet. Her mouth was wide open, revealing two rows of neat big teeth, because she couldn’t wait to enjoy her belated birthday dinner.

However, she violated a major taboo!

She was still standing in the middle of Changle Street at that time. She was too eager to gulp her trophy before she walked out of the road. It was literally a taboo!

Her lips were already touching the surface of the meat-stuffed bun and her teeth were about to tear it apart.

Suddenly it got dark in the air.

A gust of wind whistled behind her ears, and she subconsciously looked back. Before she could see what it was, she saw a huge black shadow rushing towards her.

"What the fuck!”

Clip-clop!

"Oh, you poor little beggar!”

As if the picture was frozen, Ji Wujin was opening her mouth for the meat-stuffed bun which was right before her lips but she just couldn’t reach for it.

It happened in the blink of an eye. A big power along with the clip-clop of horseshoes hit her hard in the head. Her eyes rolled.

“It might be the last time I roll my eye…” before she could say the “s”, she already got thrown up in the air.

The sky was spinning around and around in her eyes. Then she hit the hard ground, making a muffled sound of bam.

She didn’t except that she would wake up!

Slowly she opened her eyes. The only thing she could see was a cascade of light silk curtains.

Giving her mind to rest for a long time, she finally came to a bit of her senses. Ji Wujin sat up suddenly.

“Am I in heaven?”

She looked down and was surprised to touch something very soft and smooth. What was it? Was it a silk quilt? Did they have silk quilts in heaven?

She scanned around the surrounding quickly. It was a strange room, full of colorful draperies hanging from the ceiling to the ground, pretty eye-entertaining.

She reached out to brush aside the quilt, but the hands froze in the air.

Subconsciously, her two hands went for the two lumps of fat meat before her chest and she couldn’t help swallowing some saliva with some difficulty.
