Chapter 5 Is she

The Princess decided to go out tonight. While facing the mirror she lift her chin up and fix her dress.

She froze when someone knock on her door

It's Molly.

"Hey, Princess.. the Queen and King is now sleeping,"

"Wait a minute, Molly," She answered Molly

When she's finished, they assures that no one is in the hallway, when they assures. Molly help her to go out.

"Thank you," she held Molly's hands

"You're Welcome, go now," The Princess nodded

While walking on the woods, her hands tighten to the basket that she's holding as she continue walking

'I wonder if Chase is here,' she said to herself

When she arrived, she immediately smile when he saw Chase standing.

"Good Evening!" She greeted

Chase smile at her sweetly

"Why--" She cut Chase off

"Bakit ako ngayon lang?"( Why am I late?)

Shock is written on Chase's face when he heard the Princess talk while using the 'Tagalog language

"You speak in tagalog... you already know how to speak tagalog?!" Chase eyes were big

She laugh and nod

"T-That's-- good!" Chase was so impressed

"I know right?" She answered but she's just kidding

"From now on, we will talk while using tagalog language, so that you will understand what Mira's saying,"

"Ahm, okay but.. I forgot some words.." she said wrying

"It's okay,"

" do you think it is?"

"Of course, you aren't fluent anyway,"

Chase can't help but laugh. The Princess is so cute while speaking in tagalog. Specially her accent.

"Why are you tumagawa?, wait what is the right term of laughing in tagalog again?" princess forehead wrinkled

Chase just stare on her

"Why're you staring at me? It's uncomfortable," she jokingly hit his arms

He continue laughing while shaking his head.

"Why're you still laughing,huh?"

he always find the Princess cute. He can't help but to stare

"You're staring again... you are so weird

A little while ago. You tinatawagan (Calling) (right term: tinatawanan/ laughing at) me,"

"Pinagtatawanan," He said the right term to the Princess

"Pinagtawagan?" The Princess repeats. Her tongue c-can't make it!

"Pinag ta.ta.wa.nan." he said slowly

"Okay, you're laughing." The Princess suddenly said that. So he laugh

"Arghh! You are laughing at me!"

"I'll ask you a question,"

"Okay,"

"Can we go now to our house?" Chase ask

"Sure, do you need to ask that?"

When they arrived at their house, Mira greeted them with a smile. He was surprised because the woman was in their house again.

"M-Mira?" Shocked he said

"Why are you shocked? Don't you want me here?" There was surprise in Mira's voice.

"N-No, it's not like that, how long have you been here?" Chase wasn't expecting her. Mira went home yesterday so... He wasn't expecting her

"Ahm, maybe 30 mins?" Mira said and looked behind him

"Oh, the Princess is here ... Again," Mira said smiling and Mira's bad look at Blanche Elizabeth couldn't escape her.

"Hey, don't look at her like that, tsk," he said to Mira and Mira immediately bowed because of shame that Chase sa her

"I'm sorry," They can feel her sorry was insincere

Blanche Elizabeth was shocked because she didn't think Chase would saw Mira.

She was even more surprised when Chase held her hand. "C-Chase?"

"Come, let's go inside," They are a bit far from Mira now. The annoyance was obvious on Chase's face.

"Chase, if you're angry because of that, I'm okay and it's nothing," she said smiling and holding Chase's hand. She wants to assure Chase that she's okay

"You're not doing anything to her, then she'll look at you like that?" Chase shake his head a little because of disbelief

"I said, it's okay," She repeated. Chase took a deep breath and then looked at her. "Okay," And he smiled sparingly.

"Let's eat these bread," She look at the door. She wants to invite Mira as well

"What is the tagalog of Bread?"

Chase ask the princess, the Princess is thinking of what is the tagalog of bread but she forgot

She bite her lower lip"Ahm, I forgot,"

"Tch, it's tinapay,"

She just laugh and just eat the bread.

They were laughing happily when Mira suddenly approached them, so they immediately stopped laughing

"H-Hi," she greeted Mira

"Why did you stop laughing when I came here?" Mira asked without emotion.

You're too much, Mira! don't wait for me to get mad at you because you won't like it.

"Ahm-" Chase stopped her

"Mira, let's talk outside," Chase said seriously to Mira

"S-Sure," Chase looked at her with a slight nod

She was afraid of ruining the friendship between the two because of her, so it suddenly entered her mind to ... stay away from Chase.

She did not know why but she immediately rejected her own thoughts. She stood up and followed Chase and Mira outside, the two talking in a low voice, so she couldn't hear too much.

"WHAT CHASE? Why do you take that princess's side more? I'm your friend! You met me earlier than her!" Mira said emotionally to Chase

"Mira, she's not doing anything bad to you, but why don't you treat her well, she's a good person and she's a Princess!" Chase hissed to Mira

Mira look away and wiped away her tears "You don't notice me anymore because of her Chase I don't seem to be your friend anymore.."

"That's not true Mira, you're still my friend," Chase said calmly and sighed and held Mira's hand "I love you.."

ON THE OTHER HAND there was no noise as the princess approached Chase slightly, when she got close she hid behind the tree, she saw Chase holding Mira's hand.

She felt pain in her chest, "I love you ..." she covered her mouth with what she heard, What do you mean by 'I love you' Chase? Blanche said in her mind Does he love Mira as a friend or ... more than a friend? She decided to leave there with a heavy heart, but before she could get far she accidentally made a noise.

She stepped on the dry leaves, so Mira and Chase looked at her at once "I'm s-sorry, I-I didn't mean to-" she interrupted as Chase looked at her "It's okay," Chase said smiling, she saw Mira had tears in her eyes Why?

Chase invited her to enter the house, but she said she would go home knowing her, it was obvious on Chase's face that he still wanted to be with her but he just agreed to what she wanted she went home deep in thought, Why doesn't Mira don't like her?

Why did she feel pain when Chase told Mira that he loved her?

Is she inlove?... with Chase?
