Laurel , how do you feel being the youngest female lawyer , superseding others and climbing into this high post ?

Well I wouldn’t lie and say to you that I didn’t see this coming my way . It is an honor to help and save the citizens, especially the weak-hearted ones that have no one to defend them .

“We await your good work as a team leader. If I may ask , is there a case in my mind you want to handle and why ?”

Actually, yes ! Five years ago , we all know about the fatal accident that killed Natasha Montana on her way to her wedding. That will officially be my first case in this country .

After the interview , I went home to relax . I opened the diary I was reading last night . The diary of the late Natasha Montana

She really did suffer and I’m so curious , I really need to know who ended her , who did that to her .

My intention was never to move back to LA but I constantly get a page 1 of dear DIANE from an anonymous person till I decide to open it and I read what it is about .

I read page one , page two , page three and now today is Friday . That is , time for the fourth page .

DEAR DIANE…..

The revenge in my heart is crying for action but I really can’t do this to them . After all ,we are all humans and we are prone to mistakes but their mistake , can it be overlooked ?

Well I guess I’m a naive weak girl after all .

He asked me to be his wife , he made me feel like I’m the best for him

I looked around me , everyone was present . My

Mum , my dad , my sister and Ben's family.

The smiles on their faces and the excitement in their voices “say YES!” But i didn’t say yes because of them

I said “YES” cause I loved him and I thought after dating for almost five years , I’m ready to settle with him for life .

“YES!” I shouted

Ben put the ring on my finger and we both shared a short kiss leaving our families and friends chanting “we want more”

He leaned in for a deeper kiss which seemed to satisfy them .

“Let’s cheers to the sealed union between nat and my brother in law Ben”

Everyone grabbed a glass of champagne , cheered for a greater future and we all danced joyfully.

Ben whispered into my ear “I booked us a room for the night”. I gave him a sheepishly weird smile

I assume my sister (Mitchel) pressured him to do it cause it is unlike him to do it knowing fully well we are doing nothing but kiss , smoosh and sleep there Something we can both do in either one of us rooms

The virgin Natasha isn’t ready to give up her virginity even after getting a ring on her finger but I guess today might just be that day

While everyone else were partying and eating , I pulled my best friend ( Toria ) with me to the bathroom .

Since college days , Toria and Ben never got along and I like the fact they both never put me in a situation where I have to choose between the both of them

“Bride to be , how may I help you ?” Toria asked

Toria and I happily ran out the restroom like two teenagers .

Ben seemed busy talking to my dad and his dad at the other side of the rooftop so I just let him continue while Mitchel , Toria and I danced happily .

After the party , we escorted our guests out which basically consisted of my family and his family with a few friends of ours .

We then proceeded on our drive to the hotel and throughout the whole ride , Ben was busy on his phone and laptop. I tried getting his attention , calling his name , playing some music but he was too busy to pay attention to my cry of attention .

“We are here sir” the driver announced

The security helped us open our sides of the car and immediately we got out , the reporters and journalists were right in front of the hotel giving us a hard time going in . They were all asking different questions which we overlooked till a reporter asked a specific question

“Is it true you both are getting married on Saturday ?” A reporter asked

Saturday ? I asked myself

How can we ever get married on Saturday when we got engaged on Monday

I chuckled lightly at the fake rumor the reporter heard from God knows where . only for Benjamin to reply “ As a matter of fact , we plan to share this good news tomorrow on a live broadcast but why not share it now ? My beautiful fiancé and I are holding our dream wedding ceremony on Saturday April 19 . Love knows no bounds and we can’t be held up any longer , thank you”

My mouth wide open in shock, I looked around us . The reporters were all jotting down and some were taking pictures of us . Ben held my hand and he lead us into the hotel

The receptionist directed us to the elevator and throughout the whole lift , we were both quite like two strangers in an elevator .

We got to our room , beautifully decorated with petals , flowers and expensive gifts

I stayed out the door looking at the whole set up . The whole setup seems nice but the shocking news I just heard , still rings in my head

“Are you going to stay at the doorstep all night ?” Benjamin asked

I walked in , closing the door behind me . I gently sat on the bed looking at Ben do his thing

He was pulling off his suit, when he was done , he dropped his phone on the bed side table .

He went into the bathroom to shower and still we both haven’t said a word to each other

As much as I’m forced to text Toria , I hate telling her about the bad side of I and Ben relationship since she doesn’t like him

So I just laid on the bed , looking up at the ceiling and the bright light coming from the chandelier .

His phone kept on beeping with messages distracting me from my thoughts . I leaned over to put his phone on silent ,then a message came in “make sure to tell her this night babe”

Babe ? I muttered under my breath

Ben angrily collected his phone and he said “you shouldn’t touch what isn’t yours nat”

But you are my fiancé and I can …….”if you want us to have a sweet and strong married life , let’s mind our personal business separately nat”

I didn’t get an opportunity to tell you at the party and Mitchel specifically told me I must tell you this night

Ben sighed loudly before pulling me in for a hug . It was a long quiet hug and he pulled back saying “you should shower now”

Why ? Do I stink ? I jokingly teased him

He leaned in for a short peck , which resulted into a long deep kiss .

We were both out of breath and we pulled apart and I muttered on his lips “ I should probably go shower now before we do what we don’t want to do yet”

Uhmm that’s a smart question Kelly but I don’t think so and I also think your theory is right now . This is all looking like a novel than real life cause what is the whole suspense for ? Why can’t you just send the whole truth ? Do you get it ?

“Well the public already knows we are digging into this case and whosoever the criminal is might try to harm us so let’s be careful but tomorrow , we are going to the station”
