Alex's Adventures In Fairy World

Alex sat on the dirty ground munching on the freshly handed bread. I ate it deliciously, I worked hard today, and now it's time to rest. But the boss suddenly came over and told him that he needed to work overtime tonight to get the goods on board. Alex was very angry but the boss said he would pay more so Alex nodded in agreement. Currently earning money is the import; just stay to work a little bit more, but the reward amount is equal to today.

''Boss, can I take the day off tomorrow?”

"As long as you finish your work tonight, I'll give you a day off tomorrow!"

Alex happily said thank you to the boss. Tomorrow he has to go to the cemetery to burn incense for his parents. They've been gone for 10 years, Alex is used to living alone, because his parents died early and his relatives have migrated to a faraway place, so Alex had to drop out of school to earn money at a very young age. Every day he goes to the construction site to load and transport goods. With this job, he can earn enough money to live through the day. This year Alex is 25 years old but his life is still very difficult, but he is always optimistic and loves life.

The winter sky quickly began to darken, and snowflakes also began to fall. In that cold weather, the whole construction site was left with only the sound of Alex's breathing and footsteps. He is still working hard to complete the assigned task. After placing the last crate on the ship Alex collapsed on the ground. Due to being too tired, he did not notice the cold ground but lay down to rest. Because of the meager money, Alex had to sell his labor like that, but thinking of being able to eat, Alex happily stood up.

Alex walked leisurely down the deserted road back to his house. It is now midnight, the streets are empty. Alex tried to walk quickly, the weather was cold and he was only wearing a thin shirt, but Alex was used to this, and he did not feel too uncomfortable.

As Alex was walking, suddenly someone bumped into him causing him to fall to the ground. Alex was extremely surprised by the appearance of this person, obviously on the street there was no one. However, this person suddenly appeared and then bumped into him. Alex was scared to push the man away, his body had many wounds like being cut by something sharp. Alex was scared but decided to go and help him up.

" Are you okay?"

" Please help me!"- The man spoke to Alex in a weak voice. He took Alex's hand and then begged him. Alex didn't know what was going on, he wanted to push the man away but he grabbed his hand again.

"I don't know who you are, there's a payphone nearby, let me help you call the police!"

''Save me! I will pay you! As much as I can!"

When Alex heard this, his mentality changed a bit. If this man can make more money, Alex can help him.

" Do you tell the truth?"

The man saw Alex ask that and quickly took out a gold bar from his pocket, as soon as Alex saw this gold bar, his eyes lit up. Ever since childhood, he had never seen a gold bar this big.

'' Is this degree enough? As long as you save me, I will give you more! Let's go, they're going to get there!"

Alex took the gold bar and then carried the man on his back, Alex ran as fast as he could to come back home. The man lying on his back turned his head back, looked into the air then mumbled something. On the street at this time suddenly appeared silhouettes of people in black, they gently put their feet on the ground. They looked around the road but by some magical power, they couldn't see Alex and the other man. Alex was very focused on carrying the other man and running away, thinking about the injuries on his body, he was very worried. His enemies are certainly extremely cruel. It was against the law for them to torture him like this. But this man wouldn't let him call the police, what's a strange man.

Alex used the gold that the other man gave him yesterday to buy some furniture, after preparing the two of them rented a car to visit Alex's parents' grave. Alex thought he would have a lot of money after he brought the man back home, so he announced this good news to his parents. The man standing in the distance seemed to hear Alex's words, he laughed then aimed at Alex. Alex was chosen to be his escort, a blessing that is not easy to come by. As long as he returns home safely, he will repay Alex. At this moment, the man suddenly felt something, he rushed to Alex's side and pulled him away.

" What's up?"

"They've come here, let's go!"

While Alex was taking his backpack, the man waved his hand a few times in the air then suddenly a white light appeared, he waved his hand so that the light enveloped him and Alex. Alex did not notice it, he finished packing and left the cemetery with the man.
